Holistic Massage

Often used in conjunction with other alternative therapies. It takes into account the whole person and helps activate each patient’s natural healing processes as well as restoring their physical and emotional well-being. It may also promote faster healing by increasing blood flow and reducing inflammation.

Aromatherapy Massage

A variety of blends are available depending on your needs. You can choose from mood enhancing to immune boosting. To combat stress, or for the relief of muscle and joint pain, a fusion of warming essential oils can be very beneficial.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage is mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and sports injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. This helps to break up scar tissue that forms following an injury and reduce tension in muscle and tissue.

Mark your Masseur

I've always enjoyed service orientated work, with my most recent occupation in the care sector. The buzz I get from giving another person a great experience, or if I've made a difference in their life, however small, is greatly rewarding. I've had a fairly colourful and varied work history both here in the UK and overseas which has given me good grounding, skills and experiences.

Health and well being has been a keen interest of mine for many years, particularly in the area of alternative therapies and remedies. Having had a number of massages myself and experiencing the therapeutic benefits both mentally and physically, I wanted to learn these techniques for myself and ultimately help others.

I studied Holistic Massage in London completing a Level 3 ITEC Diploma. To expand on my skill set, I soon went on learn Deep Tissue techniques.

I completed an Aromatherapy for Massage Therapists course with the Mark Perren-Jones Spa Training Acadamy.

On the day

On arrival I'll hang your coat and show you to the treatment room. In order to create a relaxed atmosphere there will be essential oil diffused in the air along with ambient background music playing. So please do let me know in advance if you have any aromatherapy or music preferences and I'll try to accommodate you.

At the time of booking, I would have sent an email with a form for you to complete and return by email. It's not a problem, of course, if this isn't completed prior to your visit as we can go through it on the day. Plus, I will then go on to discuss if there are any areas that require extra attention to be incorporated in the massage or will it be purely for relaxation and reset. I can also recommend various blends of essential oil infused massage oil depending on your requirements. I will then leave you to undress and position yourself face down on the massage couch, towels are provided for cover and then we are ready to start the session.
